1. Nature of This Website

This website is provided for general informational purposes — describing our practices, method, and how to reach the office. An engagement is formed only by a signed engagement letter or consulting agreement.

2. Consulting Services

All services are provided pursuant to written engagement terms — engagement letters or consulting agreements — which specify scope, deliverables, fees, and responsibilities. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed engagement, the engagement controls.

2.1 Deliverables

Consulting deliverables are provided in writing and reflect the information examined and the judgment applied at the time of delivery. Deliverables address the stated scope of the engagement; they are not guarantees of outcome.

2.2 Specialist Work

Specialist consulting — environmental, scientific, engineering-adjacent, or regulated work — is performed under the applicable engagement and subject to the professional standards and regulatory requirements of that discipline. Where a matter requires a licensed professional, the engagement will so state.

2.3 Client Information

The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information. Findings and recommendations are based on the information provided and examined; incomplete or inaccurate information may affect the conclusions reached.

3. Fees

Fees for services are stated in the applicable engagement — project fees, hourly rates, or retainer arrangements. Invoices are payable per the engagement terms. Expenses incurred in the course of an engagement are billed as agreed in the engagement letter.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, layout, and design — is the property of BDI Consulting LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright. Deliverables produced under an engagement are governed by the intellectual-property terms of that engagement. You may view and print website pages for personal, non-commercial use only.

5. Acceptable Use of This Website

Engagements may specify alternative dispute procedures, which control for disputes under them.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
